Aplastic anaemia (or bone marrow failure) is a serious rare disease that develops when the bone marrow fails to produce red and white blood cells and platelets.

The Aplastic Anaemia Trust was formed from two organisations - the Marrow Environment Fund (MEF) and the Aplastic Anaemia and MDS Support Group.
To date The AAT has raised in excess of £3m but there is still much more to do.
