Book Signing with Martin Clunes - 17th September 2008

What a great evening.  After a 45 minute interview with Martin Clunes about his new book on dogs there was an opportunity to get books signed.  The second half saw a heel-to-music display by a Crufts winner and and a Q&A session with the author.   The Society was presented with a cheque for £750 from the ticket proceeds and through the amazing generosity of the audience we collected over £540 in our collecting tins and buckets

THANK YOU TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Chilterns Dog Rescue Society, founded in 1963, currently rehomes approximately 500 dogs a year from their Rescue Centre on the Herts/Bucks border. No dog, whatever size, age, temperament or background is ever refused help and Chilterns Dog Rescue Society prides itself in that no dog is ever needlessly destroyed. A great deal of care is taken to rehome the dogs to homes that meet the needs of each individual dog. Training and socialisation are provided where needed to help the dogs move into that special home they deserve.
