'The Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust works to make a positive difference in the quality of life for Lothian communities by improving their local environment. We believe that quality local greenspaces can have a positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals, particularly in disadvantaged areas.

Over the past 15 years, we have raised over £7million to undertake over 350 projects. We have created and improved community woodlands, built hundreds of miles of paths and cycleways, created community gardens and delivered programmes of environmental workshops and greenspace trips to improve access to the environment and raise awareness of environmental issues. We have also undertaken heritage projects, such as the restoration of historic drystane walls, the restoration of Victorian viaducts and the Mavisbank House project.
